Ceremonial Cacao is 100% pure Cacao-bean paste made from heirloom strains, grown and prepared in ancestral ways to retain its energetic and beneficial compounds. Cacao paste is made from seeds of the Theobroma Cacao tree, whose name literally translates to “Food of the Gods”.

This is a rare and special blend of cacao and pataxte. Pataxte (pah-tosh-tee) is known as cacao’s cousin and also goes by names of White Cacao, Jaguar Tree or Macambo. It has a nutty flavor - similar to macadamia or cashew, bringing the bitterness of the cacao down & providing extra creaminess.  

It’s grown in Alta Verapaz, home of some of the best cacao in Guatemala,  alongside copal, cardamom, and allspice, by the family of Mayan Spiritual Guides (Ajq’ij) and midwives deeply connected to the spirit of Cacao.

This blend is traditionally fire-roasted and prepared with the energy of the Nahuals of the Mayan Cosmovision, working energetically to release what no longer serves. RITUAL

Daily Ritual Dose: About 2 tablespoons shaved cacao paste (approx. 20–28g)

To prepare, gently warm 8–10 oz of water, herbal tea, or plant-based milk—hot but not boiling. Add your chosen dose of cacao, and blend or whisk until smooth and creamy.

Enhance the medicine with sea salt, a natural sweetener like maple syrup or raw honey, and warming spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, or vanilla—intuitively added to taste.
